What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Yale-China has programs in English language instruction, public health and nursing, legal education, American studies, and cultural exchange for Chinese and American students, as well as scholarship programs for students at selected Chinese universities. Each year, Yale-China programs directly benefit more than 1,200 Chinese and American teachers, scholars, and students, and our Teaching Fellows and health educators teach more than 3,000 students in China. We coordinate our many programs through our main office on the Yale campus in New Haven, Connecticut, and a field office on the campus of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. We publish a semi-annual magazine, The Yale-China Review, to keep Yale-China members up to date on our programs and current developments in China.
