Americas Seniors First

aka ASF   |   Vancouver, WA

Mission

We intend to improve the quality of life for older Men and Women who are living "out of doors" or who are on the cultural fringe in the inner city of Portland, Oregon. The ASF strategy is to employ individual and group Art activities and exposure, lead by local professional Artists and Art teachers.  These art activities develop inner confidence, self esteem, and a sense of community among individuals who are particularly relationship avoidant and culturally disenfranchised. For many, this charity offers a path to productivity and belonging.
