The Children's Development Khazana (CDK) children's cooperative is a financial management program wrapped around an interest-bearing savings account. Members elect their leaders, called Volunteer Managers, for six-month rotations who accept deposits which are then transferred to a mainstream bank. In addition to learning how to prioritize needs, delay gratification and save as well as the basics of accounting. Entrepreneurial youth learn how to develop a small business plan and can take "advances" approved by peer leaders to start small ventures.

50 youth from poor, marginalized communities , sometimes referred from detention centers, are enrolled in an 18-month, residential course to prepare them for jobs in the hospitality industry. At the end of the program, they have learned how to source, prepare, and present nutritious, balanced meals as well as how to package, market and distribute them. BSCC students get internships while simultaneously completing their secondary education. Training completed, they get jobs in restaurants, hotels, and institutions with dining facilities.
