Mission Statement

We are not a church but a nationwide, nondenominational, nonprofit Christian prison ministry reaching convicts throughout the United States with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We take the Bible literally as what it is, the inspired Word of God. It is our firm belief that even the most hardened of criminals can be touched and changed forever by the power and love of our Lord and Savior. Most inmates will one day be released back into society. Without a change of heart (which only Jesus can provide), they will probably commit crimes again. Please help us to provide them with God's Word, their only hope for change.

Program 1

Prison Ministry

We provide prison chaplains with free English and Spanish Christian literature (Bibles, New Testaments, Bible study books, small Bible booklets, tracts, role model books, back issues of "The Good News Letter" newsletters, post cards, tray cards) and videos that will assist them in reaching prisoners with the Holy Word of God. We also provide counseling and encouragement to those who want to turn from their past and live for Jesus. Our Christian materials and counseling assist 60 correctional facilities and youth centers nationwide in 19 states. We constantly receive letters from chaplains saying how much our services have helped them to minister to inmates. Inmates contact us to ask for prayer or Christian material and also to let us know how much they appreciate the job we are doing in preaching the Gospel to the incarcerated. For the general public, we provide our newsletters, Christian screen savers with KJV Scriptures on top of photos (Spiritually uplifting music is included), and Christian ebooks. Because of the World Wide Web, we are now able to expand and reach out to people throughout the world.

Funding Needs

Incarcerated convicts read their Bibles far more often than the general public, and we can’t get Bibles into the prisons fast enough to meet the increasing demand. Our role model book, entitled “Samuel Morris” is also a big success, as are our Christian audios and videos, newsletters, tracts, and little Bible booklets. The chaplains have found them to be a very effective tool in spreading the Word of God, especially when there are so few chaplains and inmate populations are growing larger every year. For the most part, correctional facility chaplains receive no funding from the government for the purchase of Bibles or similar Christian literature. And that is why they depend so much on the gifts of private charities, such as Bible Believers Fellowship, Inc.  Therefore, your donations will allow us to accomplish our mission to reach convicts in the United States with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Principal Officer

Mr. Eric L. Kaestner

BIO

Eric Kaestner, President and CEO, is one of the founders of Bible Believers Fellowship, Inc. He also oversees computer operations and has designed some of the programs we use. Moreover, as our ministry expands and changes, Eric continually updates and adapts our computer system in order to keep up with our current needs. His careful planning has enabled us to streamline our work and create a far more efficient environment in which to grow.

In the early days of this ministry, Eric also wrote articles which we have adapted into tracts and ebooks. Occasionally, he has also counseled inmates, both in person and through the mail. Aside from this, Eric does the desktop publishing of our newsletters, little Bible booklets, and tracts and he oversees the work on our Spanish language translations. Eric orders most of the software, equipment, videos, Bibles, and printed material that we purchase, and he keeps a careful check over our entire inventory.

For almost two decades, our presence on the World Wide Web has been handled by Eric, and he does all of the layout and HTML formatting for our web pages. Our Christian screen savers are also created, promoted, and are marketed by Eric.

Along with all the above mentioned duties, Eric has edited and digitally remastered our audio called "Sin and Redemption" by Anne Kaestner as well as readings from the Holy Bible by Norris Greer, all available at our website.

Finally, Eric is now taking on the additional task of editing and designing our new ebooks. Although most of the ebooks are written by Anne, he is also writing some of his own. He is doing all covers and chapter designs with the help of ideas from his wife, Anne.
