Our Strategy: The League implements its mission through its three-pronged strategy: 1) Ensuring that our children are well educated and equipped for economic self-reliance; 2) Helping adults attain economic self-sufficiency through good jobs, entrepreneurship, and wealth accumulation; and 3) Ensuring our civil rights by eradicating all barriers to equal participation in the economic and social mainstream. Some examples of this include; * The Seniors in Community Service Program enrolls older adults whose incomes are at or below 125% of poverty level-and places them in subsidized training positions in public and private nonprofit community-service agencies. *
