What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Undergraduate Programs
Otis College offers undergraduate degrees in a wide variety of visual and applied arts, media, and design. Core programs in liberal arts, business practices, and community-driven projects support the College's mission to prepare diverse students to enrich the world through their creativity, skill, and vision.
In addition to choosing on of seven majors (Architecture/Landscape/Interiors, Communication Arts, Digital Media, Fashion Design, Fine Arts, Product Design, Toy Design), students have the opportunity to select from 19 minors that extend and complement their work in a specific theme, topic, or program. For students who plan to become arts educators, Otis College's Artists, Community, and Teaching (ACT) program offers two minors, one of which qualifies students to waive the California Subject Exam for Teachers needed to pursue the Teaching Credential offered by the State of California.
Graduate Programs
Graduate students at Otis College develop their craft in a rigorous, supportive environment that provides a strong intellectual foundation for their futures as professional artists. Otis College offers three MFA Programs: Fine Arts, Graphic Design, and Writing, each led by renowned faculty who are redefining their respective fields.
