Distinguished Scholar Series

The Distinguished Scholar Series brings scholars of international reputation to the greater Washington DC community to lecture on a variety of subjects.

The Bible Study Center provides an opportunity to delve deeply into the text of the Bible with a local Judaic scholar. For 2013-2014, the focus of the class will be the (biblical) history of Israel and Judah from the second book of Kings through the return to Judah (the Book of Ezra). The Bible Study Center is held on Sunday mornings from September through June.

Now, with virtual learning opportunities, we are thrilled to welcome learners from throughout North America, and beyond, to our community.

Our vision is a Jewish community enriched through lifelong Jewish learning.

The Haberman Institute strategies include academic lectures, full days of learning, ongoing classes, cultural programs, and trips of Jewish interest.
