Distinguished Scholar Series
The Distinguished Scholar Series brings scholars of international reputation to the greater Washington DC community to lecture on a variety of subjects.
Bible Study Program
The Bible Study Center provides an opportunity to delve deeply into the text of the Bible with a local Judaic scholar. For 2013-2014, the focus of the class will be the (biblical) history of Israel and Judah from the second book of Kings through the return to Judah (the Book of Ezra). The Bible Study Center is held on Sunday mornings from September through June.

The Haberman Institute for Jewish Studies is honored to be one of the primary addresses for adult Jewish learning, providing high-quality, in-depth encounters with Jewish thought, history, and culture. Now, with virtual learning opportunities, we are thrilled to welcome learners from throughout North America, and beyond, to our community.
Our vision is a Jewish community enriched through lifelong Jewish learning.
