Mission

Fundamental rights are elusive for many low-income people living with HIV/AIDS. As the first and only legal agency in New York City that has focuses exclusively on providing services to low-income, underserved people living with HIV/AIDS, HIV Law Project has the singular experience and expertise to secure their basic rights. Our mission statement conveys the values that drive our vision of community and service:

HIV Law Project believes that all people deserve the same rights, including the right to live with dignity and respect, the right to be treated as equal members of society, and the right to fulfill basic human needs.

Through innovative legal and social services and advocacy programs, HIV Law Project has been successful in securing winning results and making a positive impact in the communities where we work.
