Vocations

Priestly and religious vocations are born inside a man or woman as a special gift of grace, as a direct call from God: "Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men“ (Luke 5:10). Unfortunately many souls do not say a full and confident “yes” to God’s call calling. Taking on the mission to promote vocations Catholic.net offers: interactive services, a vocational community, a prayer network for vocations and articles about vocational subjects (www.catholic.net/vocation(http://www.catholic.net/vocation) ). In addition to consultants available for youngsters and a vocational forum (forums.catholic.net(http://forums.catholic.net/) ). "The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few” (Luke 10:2). There’s a lot to be done! We must do our part in producing more effective resources in order to get a positive answer from those who are called by the Lord. We ought to promote absolute fidelity to the Magisterium of the Church and commitment to prayer life. We also have to increase online Catholic education courses, a helpline for Vocational orientation, alongside with the promotion of books on the subject. Let us humbly pray and take into our hands the actions needed to foster the vocations Our Lord has prepared for us. We cannot do it without your financial support.
