Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

We believe the promotion of self-Health concepts with easy to follow awareness techniques utilizing peer support can help to reduce high risk illnesses such as obesity, diabetes, unhealthy stress, etc. The benefits will be seen in an improved quality of life, better decision making and generally having a better concept of ones "future-self".

Being limited on staff to carry out this mission we will focus on training interested people to become "self health agents" to continue the promotion of the program and to help build the member status of a United Care Awareness Network. Staff will organize seminars, videos, and support groups to expand the interest of knowing the benefits of Self-Health. Staff Agents will also introduce people to self-health agents who are local and willing to help. We will partner with other community organizations such as homeless and teen programs to get their members involved in the concept of self health. Hopefully the recruiting for self-health agents can begin with people who are needy for jobs and direction.

We have the capability of delivering our message locally within 50 miles of our office without effort. Moving beyond that limit is provided on an irregular basis but once our mobile force is in place we will be managing more opportunities in California, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. Based on the demographics of the nation we will move to areas that suffer the most, where obesity, diabetes is prevalent.

We have a ways to go and are only limited by lack of money and facilitators to manage the support groups. The growth of the program is moving slowly as we recently manage an office move and have yet to fully get things back as we wish to focus fully on project UCAN or United care Awareness Network. We anticipate a more robust set of seminars rolling out in November 2014 to so we can have a full kick off in January 2015.
