Housing Opportunities Made Equal, Inc. is a civil rights organization working to ensure fair and equal access to housing. HOME's mission is to promote the value of diversity and to assist the people of Western New York an equal opporuntiy to live in the housing and communities of their choice--through education, advocacy, enforcement of fair housing laws and the creation of housing opportunities.

Fair Housing

Housing Opportunities Made Equal s programs include assistance to discrimination victims, housing counseling for tenants and landlords, and fair housing education. Through the Greater Buffalo Community Housing Center, we help Section 8 participants relocate to areas with broader opportunities.

HOME assists low-income participants in the federal Section 8 housing choice voucher program to locate quality housing in communities of choice.
