Sustainable Family Communities(tm) - Mexico

Our initiative is to assist local citizens to build new, small Sustainable Communities, following the detailed plans we provide, which will create opportunities for themselves to have a decent quality of life and create more opportunities for care and adoption of orphans.
This is accomplished with an organization that helps to establish:
Communities that are:
- economically self-sufficient,
- environmentally green,
- food sustainable
- socially sustainable
- high-technology based
in which families and their children
- have the opportunity for good jobs,
- share profits from community businesses,
- receive healthcare,
- continue their education,
- learn how to use computers,
- participate in social & recreational activities,
- receive job skills training
- have access to microenterprise development assistance
- learn how to live in a materially and socially sustainable family, community and nation
- have a chance to attend trade school or university so they
are better prepared for their and their country’s future.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Our USA nonprofit, Sustainable Family Communities, Inc. exists to assist those who want to have poverty-free Communities and all of the associated benefits in their country.
Our current goals are:
- To obtain the funding for the marketing to developing country government officials to find the country(ies) that want to have these Communities.
- For the countries that do want SFCs, to have the funding to keep our Executive Director there as the local Country Leadership Organization (CLO) is established that will take responsibility for obtaining the land for the Community as well as the in-country funding for its construction. Upon obtaining the in-country funding for the initiative, O.F.O.C. USA will no longer be covering the expenses to keep the director there. The expenses will be covered by the country to receive the benefits of the Community.

Our exposure includes our:
- 200 page book: Poverty as my Teacher - Learning to Create Sustainable Family Communities (it can be obtained at Amazon)
- support from our International Celebrity Ambassador, Caii-Michelle. She is an international performing artist and is currently promoting our theme of Leading the Way Out of Global Poverty with Sustainable Family Communities in Australia and New Zealand.
- Our updated website www.sustainablefamilycommunities.org
- We are looking for sponsors, grants and donors for this initiative.
- We now have a nonprofit established in Mexico which will serve as the Country Leadership Organization.

Our volunteer staff has received design assistance from over 800 individuals, businesses and universities from 18 countries and continues to receive support as we move from doing the needs and want analysis to the marketing to developing country governments.
While we continue to be an all volunteer organization, we find the dedication of caring and compassionate individuals to be uplifting.
The donations continue to come in that are enabling us to work on the marketing campaign at this time.

Our prototyping in Vietnam has made it clear that our work is needed and wanted.
We exist to create the design, marketing and support services that will get the Communities implemented in and by other countries.
We have our nonprofit HQ in the USA and we have a nonprofit established in Mexico which will serve as the Country Leadership Organization.
We have a Digital media company in Mexico now assisting us with fundraising.
