Mission

The Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism (ISGAP) is a non-partisan organization committed to fighting antisemitism on the battlefield of ideas. ISGAP is dedicated to scholarly research into the origins, processes, and manifestations of global antisemitism and of other forms of prejudice, including various forms of racism, as they relate to policy in an age of globalization. On the basis of this examination of antisemitism and policy, ISGAP disseminates analytical and scholarly materials to help combat hatred and promote understanding.

ISGAP - Oxford Professor-Training Program

The ISGAP-Oxford Summer Institute invites leading professors from around the world to develop an accredited curriculum for university undergraduate and graduate courses, and help establish the study of contemporary antisemitism as a valid and recognized academic discipline.

Population(s) Served

1) Measuring Antisemitism: The objective of this project is to create an effective, multi-layered “tool” to measure, map and decode global antisemitism.

2) Providing the highest quality of scholarly research and forensic accounting into the foundational structures of the Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign. The project: Traces the funding of American universities to promote BDS campaigns the State of Israel and documents the history and roots of the Muslim Brotherhood on American university campuses.

Consultations with governments; drafting of legislation and policies regarding antisemitism and human rights.

Translating strategic research into practical government policies.

Assisting governments to understand and combat contemporary antisemitism and other forms of anti-democratic ideologies.

Seminars, conferences and symposiums at academic institutes to legitimize the study of contemporary antisemitism.

Seminar series: Explores antisemitism in a comprehensive, interdisciplinary framework from an array of approaches and perspectives, as well as regional contexts; Has held over 100 seminars since 2014.
