The Building Materials Reuse Association (BMRA) is a 501 c3 non-profit educational and research organization whose mission is to advance the recovery, and reuse of building materials. We do this to: Reduce the consumption of new resources Reduce landfill waste and pollution Create value-added markets and increase cost-effectiveness Expand job opportunities and workforce development skills Promote the sustainability of communities and the environment through resource preservation

Deconstruction Contractor Certification

We offer a deconstruction certificate of completion to deconstruction contractors and technicians who successfully complete our curriculum and testing to help promote more qualified deconstructioninsts to the building industry.

Population(s) Served

Our Annual Decon & Reuse conference is dedicated to bringing together industry professionals from across the US and Canada to build our reuse network, share best practices and make connections between our industry and other related industries.

As a key component to building our industry we are working to build awareness for reuse and decon at the city and county levels, working with local government agencies, local NGO's and community leaders to promote setting goals for waste reduction through reuse and deconstruction.
