Whether the business is the sole source of family income or a crucial supplement to family earnings, micro enterprise development has put many low-income families on the road to self-sufficiency. Our business development services are designed to meet the needs of specific target groups such as welfare recipients, minorities, women, the working poor, young people, rural areas, and individuals or business sectors that lack access to credit and business counseling.With MEI's assistance, individuals and businesses learn how to properly operate their businesses, which will increase public tax revenues and private incomes, thereby reducing dependence on public assistance. The ultimate goal of MEI's efforts, is creating jobs, generating income, building assets and enhancing skills of micro-enterprises.
