Mission

Akindale Thoroughbred Rescue works directly with the racing industry to provide rest, rehabilitation, retraining and rehoming of thoroughbreds no longer able to race. Akindale Thoroughbred Rescues sanctuary is home to 120 retired racehorses who are no longer able to race or be ridden due to physical limitations or past injuries.

Akindale Thoroughbred Rescue

Akindale Thoroughbred Aftercare specializes in the rehabilitation, retraining and rehoming of retired thoroughbreds. Our program also includes a sanctuary component and is home to 120 thoroughbreds no longer able to race or be ridden due to physical limitations or past injuries.
