What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Adult programs include cultural competency training, workplace diversity training and consulting for employer diversity programs.

Youth programs include the OurTown Youth Leadership Institute, Heritage Panel, Talking in Class, and Different and the Same.

The OurTown Youth Leadership Institute is a one-week residential leadership institute for high school and college students. Over 400 Kansas students have attended the OurTown Youth Leadership Institute.

Heritage Panel Workshops engage high school students in discussions about cultural differences and similarities. Skills in self-awareness, public speaking, group interaction, role modeling, communication, conflict resolution, and leadership are developed.

Talking in Class promotes self-respect, mutual respect and personal responsibility to create an inclusive school and neighborhood.

Different and the Same prepares educators and volunteers to facilitate this nine-topic prejudice prevention video program for grades K-3. The curriculum is designed to reinforce a sense of fairness, inclusion and equity. Nearly 500 Wichita Public School students participated in this curriculum in 2007.
