Womens Fund of Greater Milwaukee Inc

The Women's Fund's primary program is it's social change grantmaking program which focuses on social justice, economic justice, and/or leadership development.  Granting decisions are made by a diverse group of community volunteers.  We are also in our fourth year of our reproductive justice grantmaking program which supports women-of-color led solutions.

We support capacity building in the areas of governance, philanthropy, and grantmaking for under-represented women through specific constituency groups.

We collaborate with our grant partners and our community to grow in their understanding of social change and philanthropy.  Activities inclde: hosting community seminars and luncheon, supporting a women of color fundraisers group, co-convening the local black infant mortality crisis initiative, and coordinating The White House programs in Wisconsin.
