Stimulate uncensored debates and discussions among Chinese scholars, students, professionals and dissidents about how to best facilitate a peaceful reform in China to reform China into a more open, pluralized and democratic society. Inform Chinese intellectuals and the general public on democratic theories and practice in other democratic countries.
