Mission
The San Franciso Homeless Services Coalition works to educate and engage the community about homelessness, spark positive community action, support service providers and shelters through resources from food and clothing to funds, specifically benefiting homeless women, children, and families. SFHSC links residents and their resources with area shelters that need their donations and also educates the community about the causes of homelessness in an attempt to raise awareness, understanding and invoke dialogue about what can be done to tackle the issue of homelessness.

Programs
The Homeless Services Coalition has three distinct goals: Educating the community about the problem of homelessness in local Counties. Second goal is public awareness with the hopes of working to change the face of homeless aid in California by securing more funding for homeless rehabilitative services by garnering public support for policies helping the homeless. The third goal is to raise resources for homeless service providers to link funds, volunteers, clothes, food and all in-kind donations with homeless service agencies that need them across the County.
Linking Services
To distribute resources of in-kind donations within the city shelters and service providers that have identified the need for such items.
Public Education
Educating the community about the problem of homelessness in the Bay Area and what we can do to change it.
Donation of funds to Service Providers
Give funds to shelters and service providers in the Bay Area.
