THE AGORA FOUNDATION IS A 501 (C) (3) NON-PROFIT ENDEAVOR, PROVIDING SEMINARS AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TO THOSE WHO ARE BUSY WITH CAREERS, FAMILIES AND DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES YET ARE SEEKING TO FURTHER THEIR EDUCATION WITHOUT THE COMMITMENTS A RETURN TO SCHOOL WOULD INVOLVE. THE GOAL OF THESE OFFERINGS IS TO PROVIDE AN UNDERSTANDING OF THE IDEAS THAT SHAPE CIVILIZATIONS AND TO PROMOTE CIVIL DISCOURSE ON COMPLICATED SUBJECTS.

Online Great Books Seminars

The Agora Foundation offers three types of online events
1) Regular Seminar Series: We are currently exploring works such as Finnegans Wake by James Joyce, and the Beloved, Jazz, and Paradise trilogy by Toni Morrison.
2) Free Community Seminar Series: Alternating weekly, we have two free online community seminar series underway: a) Foundations of Our Republic and The Archetypes and the Collective Unconsciousness by C. G. Jung.
3) Online Intensives: These are weekly offerings (typically eight to twenty-four weeks in length) for those who want to dig more deeply into a subject with a dedicated small group of attendees.
