LIfe Jacket Loaner Program

Sea Tow Foundation has provided life jackets that boaters can borrow and return free of charge at hundreds of locations across the US since 2008. These locations are at beaches, boat ramps, marinas, parks and community centers as well as anywhere else boaters may be. You can find a map of locations at www.boatingsafety.com/map

The Sea Tow Foundation launched a nationwide awareness campaign in 2015 aimed at eliminating boating under the influence accidents and deaths. The campaign is centered around the idea that boaters need to appoint a designated sober skipper for every boating trip and they can take the Sober Skipper pledge at www.soberskipper.com
