Trauma Intervention Programs of Fresno County, Inc. (TIP Fresno) is affiliated with the national non-profit organization Trauma Intervention Programs, Inc. (TIP Inc.) founded in 1985. In TIP Fresno, citizen volunteers provide support to emotionally traumatized citizens immediately after tragedy strikes. Hospital personnel, police officers, firefighters, and paramedics call for TIP volunteer assistance on a 24-hour, 365-day a year basis. Volunteers assist family members.
