Mission

Rescue, rehabilitation, and release of wildlife.  Rescue and sanctuary of domestic and exotic animals.  Education of the public, through guided tours and outreach, regarding the aspects and responsibility of taking an animal as a pet.  Using the stories of the animals living at the sanctuary we attempt to illustrate the abuse and neglect of animals by irresponsible pet owners and those breeding the animals for the pet trade.

Notes from the nonprofit

We are a small grass roots organization. Our focus and energy has been to survive. We have struggled for 12 years to overcome bias and to expand compassion for the creatures we serve.
