What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Addressing and engaging our donors. Donors tend to stay connected with organizations that engage their minds, hearts and bodies in addition to their ability to give. The goal is to be focused on lifetime donor value and for people to feel connected and experience a sense of belonging with the Kip Center. Although our focus is Senior Citizens, our goal is to engage intergenerationally.

Train members and volunteers as ambassadors for the Center and build relationship with media

Kip Center operates with a staff of 3 full time, 2 part time, and 5 independent contract instructors, all supported by more than 140 volunteers throughout the year, a 20 member Board of Directors, and 19 organizations represented on the Bridge-builders Advisory Committee. The Center receives funding from government, corporations, and foundations; accepts donations from a variety of sources, and conducts vigorous fundraising campaigns throughout the year.

Our fitness classes engage older adults on all physical and intellectual levels. We offer classes that can be modified to include any members who choose to participate.

We are moving towards a more diversified membership by increasing our Social Media and public presence.
