Mission

Wildlife in Crisis is a volunteer run, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization
dedicated to wildlife preservation and land conservation.

WIC was founded in
1988 and each year WIC volunteers answer over 15,000 calls regarding injured and
orphaned local wildlife and care for over 5,000 debilitated wild animals. WIC’s
wildlife care center, land trust and environmental education programs share the
goal of protecting wildlife while improving the quality of life in our
community. WIC relies entirely on donations to care for debilitated wildlife.
As a volunteer run organization, we need help with fundraising, carpentry,
public relations, grant writing and other professional services in addition to
animal care. For more information about WIC and for answers to frequently asked
questions about wildlife visit our website at www.wildlifeincrisis.org(http://www.wildlifeincrisis.org/) .

Environmental education programs for schools, community groups, professionals by request. And our Wildlife in Crisis Land Trust addresses the umbrella issue of suburban sprawl by permanently preserving pristine wildlife habitat. All donations are tax-deductible.
