The Zimmer Foundation for China is a non-profit organization established to implement holistic programs to improve the economic and spiritual conditions in rural Guizhou.

The Zimmer Foundation is a US 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization established in memory of Rev. & Mrs. Gerald Zimmer who served in China 1936-1948.

Improve the economic and spiritual conditions in rural Guizhou. Giving scholarships to brilliant and needy students student from rural areas from those student from families identified at or below the poverty level in their respective county. Most are the first in their family to receive a college degree and will impact thousands and get out of the poverty spiral.

Work closely to City and University officials to ensure the right students are chosen and monitor each student for solid academic achievements.

Significant training from holistic non-profit leaders who are experienced with the Chinese Government while leverage my own relationships since the President (Clinton Zimmer) was conceived and raised in China until he was five years of age. Leverage relationships in the city and University and related organizations. Significant networking with similar non-profit organizations is a big pay off.

Targeted two scholarships students per year for ten years. At the end of nine years, we have already 54 scholarship students
