Goals & Strategy

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Abington Art Center seeks to increase revenue by expanding its focus on studio school student enrollment and individual gift participation.

Through careful cultivation of donors and strategic events. AAC seeks to increase engagement with the community. There is a misperception that this organization is supported by tax payer dollars through the township, when in fact it is completely self-funded. In addition, AAC has created new and relevant classes to address the needs of the community's art education. This includes special needs programming for seniors and adults as well as more children and teen classes.

AAC is housed on a 27-acre estate property within a 1939 manor house. This backdrop allows for additional revenue through private event rentals. In addition, AAC is well respected within the art community and is able to attract talented teachers, administrators and staff.

Private event rentals which offer a source of unrestricted support have increased 63% this year. In addition, community offering such as artist talk and family art education programs have all seen an increase in attendance. Membership continues to rise, which is a good indicator of progress in the community.
