Higher Grounds

Higher Grounds is our youth center that operates on Monday and Friday night. On Monday's we serve a free dinner to the youth that spend time disscussing issues and what the Bible and Christianity have to say about those issues.

On Friday night we open to all youth between ages 12-20 during the night we have a "talk" where we present the Bible in way is unique and applicable to the youth. You need not be a Christian to attend, nor to you need to be involved in faith.

Population(s) Served

The Farm is our skate and snowboard outreach. This includes a 11,000 sq/ft indoor skatepark and snowboard shuttle.  Each week in the winter months we are open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights and in the summer we operate on Friday nights in the skatepark. During the summer, on Monday and Wednesday we go to the local skateparks and meet and talk with kids. Friday nights include a "talk" where we share relevant solutions to life problems. We also operate a snow shuttle taking the kids to snowboard at Colorado resorts (we charge a small fee of $10 to cover gas).

ASP is our after school program. We offer tutoring and homework help as well as community service oppertunites. We currently are training young people in small business operation, everything from bookkeeping to customer service.
