Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
We serve at-risk children in Collier, Lee, Hendry and Glades Counties through two types of mentoring programs.
In the COMMUNITY-BASED MENTORING program, adult volunteers provide children ages 5 to 18 individualized time and attention on a regular basis, typically two to four times a month for two to three hours each time.
Through the BIGS IN SCHOOLS program, volunteers offer children individualized time and attention at the child's school. Teachers identify those children who can most benefit from an extra caring adult in their lives. Volunteers and children meet once a week for approximately one hour during the school year.
