The Boy Scouts of America programs, nationally, include Tiger Cubs BSA, Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, Varsity Scouting and Venturing. To support Boy Scouts of America, visit www.give2bsa.org.

Population(s) Served

Cub Scouts is for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Proven developmental programs guide the Cubs from exploration to accomplishment with lots of fun and friendship along the way. Find a Cub Pack near you and let the adventure begin!
While Cub Scouts cross over into Boy Scouts at the end of fifth grade, boys ages 11-17 (or who has completed fifth grade) may join the Boy Scouts at at any time. The Boy Scout program teaches character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness as boys advance through the ranks of Scout, Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class, Star, Life, and Eagle Scout. Boy Scouts explore personal, life, and professional skills through the Merit Badge system. Coming in the Spring 2019–Scouts BSA, in which the current system of all-boy troops is augmented by all-girl troops learning the skills and program.
