What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Campus Life

Campus Life is a program for high school and middle school students that connects them with peers and mentoring adults to help them become productive members of the community.

Population(s) Served

Axis is a Metro Pittsburgh Youth for Christ program for post high school young adults in the Metro Pittsburgh region. Its purpose is to connect with and be a resource for the young people who after high school live at home and join the work force or commute to college. Many of the young people in this place find themselves wavering in a search for purpose and meaning. It is our ultimate goal to present the teaching, work, and person of Jesus Christ as the Axis that stabilizes and brings strength and significance to our lives. So the purpose of Axis is to share Jesus Christ with the participants, strengthen their faith in God through Jesus Christ, and send them into the work of ministry in the name of Jesus, achieving these through a mix fellowship, teaching, discussion, training, and active ministry.

Population(s) Served

The Armory Youth Center will provide the youth of Canonsburg a safe and welcoming Christian environment that fosters positive physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual growth through their discovery of purpose, value, and the love of Christ. We will provide an after school academic program, an athletic program, mentoring, and Campus Life meetings in the Youth Center when it opens in September 2014.
