Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
CAASE'S PROGRAMS
Legal services: Free advice, consultations, and representation to survivors of sexual violation who want assistance in protecting their civil rights, including as victims of crime.
Prevention: Education for high schoolers using curricula which teaches teens to resist harmful messages about masculinity and violence against girls and women, deterring them from supporting sexually harmful conduct.
Policy: CAASE seeks to address and improve criminal justice and social responses to sexual harm. Between 2010 and 2015, CAASE led 6 legislative campaigns that transformed state law related to prostitution and trafficking. Our work also seeks to improve criminal justice and social responses to rape.
Community engagement: Empowering people to take action against sexual exploitation and increase access to services for survivors, CAASE engages with underserved communities on Chicago’s South side/suburbs. CAASE partners with existing community organizations to create networks of care for survivors.
