Mission:
To inspire, engage and educate youth through innovative programs, training and activities to create future leaders of tomorrow in
Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) related careers.

Empower Underrepresented Groups:
21stCentury STEM Foundation's work with the goal is to empower underrepresented groups to achieve their full potential. Groups underrepresented in STEM fields include African Americans, Hispanics and Latinos, American Indians, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders, the economically disadvantaged, people with disabilities, and women and girls. The strategic objective is to promote and improve equitable access and educational opportunities for children. 21stCentury STEM Foundation's work will provide insight to educators, employers and policy makers on the needs and challenges of key groups of children with a variety of skills and educational attainment

Future Tech Masters

A core signature year round program that focuses on terrestrial (inclusive of FIRST Lego League, Georgia FIRST Robotics and Sea Perch), aquatics and space based learning that culminates into competitions locally, regionally, statewide and even nationally.

Organized as the first NSBE Jr. chapter under the direction of the Atlanta University Center’s National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), 21 C-STEM NSBE Jr. is designed for youth to learn more about careers in STEM related fields.

Mentors serve as positive role models; helping to set goals, solve problems and engage in enriching experiences. Through activities, developing group mentoring relationships between the youth and caring adults in support of STEM Foundation related career fields; ultimately provide one-on-one mentoring.

“The Visual Artist”, a group of mentors will provide youth with hands on art education; focusing on young people learning to value their unique voices and vision by displaying their artistic expression through the lens of a camera.
