Women Achieving Visionary Excellence Scholarship Fund (WAVE) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization established in 2007 serving African-American girls from the District of Columbia.  WAVE seeks to empower these young women by providing financial assistance for their post secondary education and by establishing a support network that contributes to their future success.

Launching the Vision Scholarship

The Launching the Vision Scholarship is for young ladies who are graduating high school seniors from Washington, DC.  The funds can be used for tuition, fees, books, and other incidentals the recipients may need to cover during their first year at a four-year college or university.
