What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
African Immigrants and Refugee Support
Locally, Africa Project, Inc., serves as a community resource center for African
immigrants, refugees and local communities. Some of these services are still
being planned to be launched. Proposed and already functioning programs
include:
Africa Education Project
Africa Project has launched a massive education campaign with pilot programs in
Uganda and a Liberia where donors can choose to sponsor a student or a number of
students to primary, secondary, technical school or even at a local university.
We believe that education is central in personal, professional and the national
development of a nation. African children must be educated so they will be the
ones who will develop their countries. In this line, we have introduced the
Africa Education Fund, a unique funding program that raises funds used to
promote education by building schools, providing excellence scholarships, grants, technology, books,
educational resources and other educational related expenses.
Africa Project Volunteer and Internship Program
Africa Project Volunteer and Internship Program provides opportunities for students aged 18 years and older to travel to African countries to volunteer their skills, talents and knowledge working with community-based organizations. The program emphasizes individual commitment to service and gives individuals an opportunity to make a difference by sharing their skills, talents and knowledge.
