Mission

Alliance San Diego's mission is to empower diverse people and organizations to engage more effectively in the civic process in order to make change that enables all people to achieve their full potential.

We do this through programs, communications strategies, and community development.

1. PROGRAMS: We identify problems, build coalitions, create solutions, prepare leaders, and mobilize people for change on issues that matter most to our communities.

2. COMMUNICATIONS: We create narratives, challenge assumptions, visualize change, prepare spokespeople, and use technology to reach diverse audiences and facilitate engagement.

3. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: We build relationships, mobilize resources, and work with donor partners to fulfill our promise.

Our promise is to achieve greater impact by mobilizing and amplifying community voices to change detrimental policies that marginalize our families and generate policies that enable all people to achieve their full potential in an environment of harmony, safety, equality and justice.
