What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Birthday Celebrations
Celebrating our recipient children's birthdays every year from 1 years old and up to age 18, by spending $150 per child, per birthday according to the child’s specific gift wishes and needs.
ASC Journey Camp
The ASC Journey Camp experience is held each summer at Deer Run Camps and Retreats in Thompson's Station, TN. Journey Camp gives ASC children the opportunity to come together for a week of recreation and relationship-building where they form life-long bonds with other fallen soldiers’ children. Realizing they are not alone in their grief, gives the children courage and strength to carry on. ASC’s Journey Camp is nationally recognized. The Associated Press created a documentary on how children cope with the loss of a parent to war and used the Journey Camp experience as its subject.
Accessing College Scholarships
We partner with other nonprofit agencies like the Children of Fallen Patriots (CFP) to connect ASC participants with scholarship opportunities so that they can receive a post-secondary education.
PS23
PS23 is a Christian base leadership camp that is available for ASC recipients ages 16-25. This camp is to teach Christian leadership skills for the career path they choose.
