Watershed Ambassador Program

Oak Creek Watershed Ambassadors offer educational and volunteer experiences to engage groups and individuals in the important work of protecting Oak Creek. Through monthly stewardship events, educational outreach, water quality monitoring, and streamside contact with recreators, the Ambassadors promote watershed protection through responsible recreation. They also maintain pet waste stations to reduce pollution. By providing well-coordinated volunteer opportunities that engage the public in meaningful and fun stewardship activities, we are helping to foster an environmental ethic that has a broad reach in society.
