STATEMENT FROM THE Executive Director

"For Paws Hospice is a idea that sprang from our experience with human hospice. For Paws provides support to families struggling to care for their pets either financially or emotionally.

Just as human hospice marshals a community of professionals and volunteers to assist families in home, For Paws Hospice provides a community of pet care professionals to assist pet families.

As director I recognize the unique aspect of this hospice care model; with each client patient we are presented with a different critical need affecting the human animal bond.

When a pet can remain in its home free of pain or fear and cared for by its long time companion, hospice has succeeded in its mission."
