Project: AK-47

Project: AK-47 rescues and rehabilitates child soldiers and children in armed conflict in some of the world’s most violent and difficult-access areas and provides them with dedicated care, education, vocational skills and/or university preparation.  Project: AK-47 seeks to restore these children's
identities and empower them with the resources to bring reconciliation
to communities that are in conflict. Current projects span Burma (Myanmar), Philippines, Sri Lanka and Mexico. 
 
As a grassroots campaign in the U.S. and other developed nations, Project: AK-47 unites advocates and supporters in the effort to rescue these children via several creative media.
