Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
First Fridays Open Mic Night
On the first Friday of the month teen performers entertain the audience with original music and song in a room on the ground floor that is decorated to look like CBGBs in Manhattan.
This program allows teen musicians to display their taents in a safe and positive atmosphere.
Basketball "Camp"
Basketball activites are offered three times a week. Two to three times a year tournaments are held (Three point contest, 3 on 3 and 5 on 5). This activity encourages group participation and leadership. Teens are able to improve their skills in a supervised and safe environment.
Videography and Technology Club
Teens work colaboratively with each other to complete videos that are then uploaded to YouTube. They learn from each other, complete tasks and are able to express themselves via a video medium. Adult advisors are available to te teens as needed.
