Goals & Strategy

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Strengthening Native Communities through community, economic and youth development.
Self-Determination of Native Communities
Nation Building
Self-Governance
Strengthening and Empowering Communities without resources, so they have a voice in what happens.
We have created a Model that can be taken to other countries and people in need, so that their communities can be restored and their cultures preserved.

Develop and maintain trusted relationships within communities where we work.
Working in partnership, we can provide an assist to communities in need so they can succeed in accomplishing projects and programs that will best serve their community long-tern in areas of community, economic and youth development.
Our renovation of the Boys and Girls Club of Rosebud has created a wave of new programs, serving many more children, directors of the club successfully obtaining funding, and a new chapter in youth development.
We know we are succeeding because the club has almost tripled the number of children served and they now have the capacity to offer many more programs for the kids.

We are a small team, yet we were able to completely renovate the club without having to go to Rosebud and within budget. This is significant because it shows our organizational ability, the strength of our relationships with the tribe and community and the ability to make much happen with little resources being used for travel and the like. This project was a huge undertaking. Many moving parts, lots of pieces to the many projects. In one year's time we have also helped Rosebud start its own Community Foundation 501c3, and are beginning projects for youth and community/economic development with the tribe and outside professionals through The Good Life Program.

We are working on securing funding for The Good Life Program starting with the Rosebud Tribe in South Dakota.
