American Studio Orchestra Inc.

The American Studio Orchestra has been named "Artist-in-Residence"
at The Johns Hopkins University Zanvyl Krieger School of Arts and
Sciences' Center for Africana Studies! This continuing
residency will feature performances at The Baltimore Museum of Art.
Members of the orchestra will participate in a series of lectures,
classes and workshops on JHU's Homewood campus.

ASO is the third resident artist to be selected for this honor by the
JHU Center for Africana Studies, following in the footsteps of
contemporary artist Renee Stout and photographer Hank Willis Thomas.
Resident-artists are selected by an advisory committee of art historians
and scholars, led by Dr. Ben Vinson, Director of The JHU Center for
Africana Studies.
