Care2Tri’s motto is simple, “get the focus off yourself, help others, and you’ll transform your own life.” The “Cause” You Care2Tri program is designed to help families that have suffered major trauma and need outside help. Our goal is accomplished through monthly Virtual 5K running events. For each event, we select an “inspirational family of the month” who benefits from the generosity and commitment of the virtual participants.There is no a set race entry fee to participate, but there is a minimum donation, and participants may opt to donate more than the minimum. We hope to inspire others to challenge and push themselves beyond their self-imposed limits. Those who used to run/walk may now have an incentive to start exercising again. Or those who are sitting on the couch and have always wanted to run or walk for 3.1 miles may now have an incentive to get up and get moving to help a family in need.
