Goals & Strategy

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

The major goal of SHUZZ is to expand our shoe distribution program to reach more children in need. The anticipated benefits to the target population are decreased risk for disease, injury and deformity, increase in physical activity such as participation in gym, recess and extracurricular sports, increased school attendance, decreased behavioral problems, increased interaction with peers, and increased self esteem.

SHUZZ is sustained by public giving, including individual and corporate gifts, donations made during fundraising events, such as the annual fashion show, and funds raised by volunteers participating in events that benefit SHUZZ, such as the Miami Marathon and Palm Beaches Marathon.

SHUZZ has partnered with many other organizations and locates where the need is the greatest for children in low income, poverty stricken areas. For each program, we have set guidelines and have the proven capabilities for distributing these shoes to children in need.

SHUZZ has accomplished giving over 100,000 new shoes to children in poverty stricken areas in the United States and Internationally. We have secured hundreds of volunteers throughout the years, and have a Board that has won numerous awards for their Community Involvement and their Philanthropy. SHUZZ has a goal to continue the mission in helping as many children as possible.
