What we aim to solve New!

Many houses in our rural area go without upkeep and can make viable homeless housing or low income properties if subsidized by local NPO's like CYMG. We have have in the past worked with the YWCA Safe Space Center shelter to provide housing for low income homeless persons. In 2017 We provided a gift property at 54 Jefferson Bradford PA to the local NPO Economic development district for rehabilitation. In 2016 we provided a property for new construction for Low Income property at 44 Elm St Bradford Pa that is now a two townhouse side by side that is similar to habitat type housing projects. We have several properties that we hope to turn into homeless shelters or rehab properties this year. The low income and homeless problem in the area is one of our primary areas of service and philanthropy.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?

How will they know if they are making progress?

What have and haven't they accomplished so far?

To provide community low income and homeless shelters and homes and provide our mission team and volunteer's resource to continue our food services in support of local relief programs. We hope to provide two to three more properties to rehabilitation this year for homeless shelters or low income housing.

Through Social Media marketing and PR appearances on Radio, TV and via our teams of volunteer congregation members we hope to inspire new donations, workers and supporters to join our efforts in 2018.

We have been rehabbing properties for 22 years now working with local construction and other charities in the area. We have a team of congregation members who work in missions, field work and volunteer to help us reach our goals. We work with local contractors and other NPO's to pool efforts and resources.

We have been on TV, Radio and have had new paper PR and Media coverage over the last 20 years. We are well known for being a positive team lead by expert leadership. From 2000 to today, we have produced over 3000 radio and media programs for publication and broadcast.

We have have in the past worked with the YWCA Safe Space Center shelter to provide housing for low income homeless persons. In 2017 We provided a gift property at 54 Jefferson Bradford PA to the local NPO Economic development district for rehabilitation. We have several properties that we hope to turn into homeless shelters or rehab properties this year. The low income and homeless problem in the area is one of our primary areas of service and philanthropy. We have also published over 40 books and bible translations over the last 20 years. Our hopes are to continue doing what we are doing with social network and media marketing to encourage community support and national public relations and produce a documentary film about our projects and translation work by Dr Merrick.

In order to support nonprofits and gain valuable insight for the sector, GuideStar worked with D5—a five-year initiative to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in philanthropy—in creating a questionnaire. This section is a voluntary questionnaire that empowers organizations to share information on the demographics of who works in and leads organizations. To protect the identity of individuals, we do not display sexual orientation or disability information for organizations with fewer than 15 staff. Any values displayed in this section are percentages of the total number of individuals in each category (e.g. 20% of all Board members for X organization are female).

Diversity notes from the nonprofit
We have over 2700 members world wide in our online congregation and 47 local members from all walks, tribal, racial and backgrounds. We do DNA research at MerrickFoundation.Org and Genealogical roots which proves that diversity is the hallmark of distinction of the only race on earth, the human race. We deal with spiritual matters more than social justice in our efforts to help others in any aspect of what we do, we do not even consider such matters as skin colors or tribal roots. See our studies at Merrick Foundation Org Web site and our 267 members families from all races and tribal origins.
