Mission Statement

We are creating conscious leaders through heart-centered sponsorship and educational programs which include the development of mind, body, spirit and emotions. The Integral Education Program is creating the possibility of changing culture from the inside out. We are doing this, not by teaching our students what to think, but how to think. The classes at the Integral School Guatemala are based on the lifework of Ken Wilber, American author and philosopher whose work formulates Integral Theory. Ken Wilber has written 25 books and has been translated in over 55 languages. Integral Theory teaches individual competency and social skills, and encourages taking responsibility, not only for the self but also for other people. Program 1

Integral Philosophy Program

Sponsorship Program

As with each one of the kids who have entered The Integral Heart Sponsorship program, we have visited their homes and families to learn about their needs and to educate them on the responsibility of having a sponsor. Their hopes rest on the generosity of a sponsor to make the potential we see in them a possibility. The challenge also is not only to educate the kids, it is to inspire the parents to realize that education has great value.

Program 3

Solar Light Program

Most of us with high-speed internet access take for granted that we also have access to light. This Solar Lighting project has four main goals: - Provide widespread awareness of Portable Solar Lighting Units. - Provide employment in the promotion of the units. - Provide access to micro-credit and micro-consignment programs. - Provide access to private donations so that no family is left in the dark.
