Program 1

Consolidated Resources

Padraig's Place is an on-line resource for families with special needs children in Minnesota.  The challenges of having a child with exceptional needs can be further complicated with the difficulty of finding and accessing the help that the family needs.  Minnesota offers many resources to such families although the time and effort to find them is overwhelming.  Padraig's Place believes if families and access the help that they needs, the family can integrate the disability into their lifestyle rather than living their lives around the disability.

Principal Officer

Eileen Foley

BIO

Eileen founded Padraig's Place in 2008 after finding the search for support and resources to be extremely challenging for her son Padraig who was diagnosed with developmental problems at 13 months and Autism and Cognitive Delay at age 4. An avid researcher, Eileen believed that if she was having difficulties establishing connections to proper care options for Padraig, financial support, respite and emotional support that she must not be alone. It has become her life passion to support and enrich the lives of other families who are challenged with disabilities through the development of this organization and website, SpecialKidCare.org
