What we aim to solve
The Metropolitan School District of Washington Township (MSDWT) is a dynamic community with broad cultural, religious and economic diversity. The strength of a community directly correlates to the success of its public schools and The Advancement Center is an essential component of keeping our schools strong. We feel that additional resources provided through our organization allow the MSDWT to attract and retain the best teachers, develop our students to their full potential, and support outstanding classroom resources.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Grant Support:
Facilitate unrestricted giving that supports a process for grant opportunities to grow classroom and teaching resources.
Program Support:
Grow unrestricted giving and endowment support to subsidize annual budgets for reoccurring programs that have shown measured success and importance to the educational experience of students in MSDWT.
Designated Gifts:
Provide a way for donors to support programs and projects across the District that are of interest to them.
Scholarships:
Grow unrestricted giving and endowment support to support new North Central High School alumni as they attend Colleges, Universities and Certification programs across the Country.
District Initiative Campaigns:
Engage donors with the foundational work to establish District identified programs and curriculum they wish to bring to or create in MSDWT.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We have provided over $7M in classroom grant, professional development, and program support. We provided $1M in seed funding to provide International Baccalaureate education to ALL children in ALL schools across Washington Township, making us one of only 7 public IB districts in the world. It is our goal to continue these important efforts as well as support new initiatives, such as seed funding for a Panther Pathways Program that fosters college and career readiness to make our graduates more successful in their post secondary endeavors.
